Our Vision for Growth
Entrepreneurship can be a lonely road, especially in the beginning. Without the support of a team, a professional can feel overwhelmed and frustrated. At Verus Forensic, we support each other and back each other up when it comes to sticking to an objective, fair approach to consulting within a legal setting. We want to extend that support to others.
That's why, at Verus Forensic, we're putting together a team of leading experts in a broad range of disciplines. Our clients will be able to trust us and our team to provide the honest, balanced, and scientific approach that Verus Forensic is known for.
The individuals we add to our team will direct our path as they expand our offered disciplines. We are not seeking to fill open positions; we are seeking to create positions for individuals who share our vision and philosophy and would like to lead a discipline area at Verus Forensic.
Instead of filling slots poorly, we are looking to find other professionals who will help create the future of Verus.
The envisioned future of Verus Forensic includes offering access to leading experts in a broad range of discipline areas. Currently, we offer one discipline area – civil/traffic engineering, led by Matthew Manjarrez and Allen Bourgeois.
We envision adding additional disciplines. To succeed, we must add individuals to our staff who are leading experts in their disciplines and have an entrepreneurial spirit that seeks to build and direct a practice within Verus Forensic.View Our Team

Directing Our Path
The individuals that we add will direct our path. If we first connect with a neurologist who wants to build a practice centered on the evaluation of medical malpractice cases, we will add that discipline.
If an Accident Reconstructionist resonates with our honest, balanced, and objective approach, we will grow in that direction. A mechanical engineer who has a passion for failure analysis may lead to the addition of a product liability discipline.

Taking care of our team is important to us, and great health care and other programs to support the wellbeing of our employees is key. We accomplish this through an Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement (ICHRA) along with other supportive programs. These programs are very flexible and can be tailored to one's specific needs.
Healthcare-ICHRA Reimbursement Program
Our intent is to provide full company-paid health coverage with minimal, if any, out-of-pocket expenses, depending on an individual's health care usage.

Qualifying expenses include, but are not limited to, the deductibles, copays, and other out-of-pocket expenses for items such as: dental treatments, orthodontics, eyeglasses, contact lenses, optometry services, prescription medication, over-the-counter medication, medical tests, etc.
Wellness-Focused Membership Reimbursement
To promote a healthy lifestyle, we offer a company-paid wellness/fitness option by providing reimbursement of up to $125 per month for a qualified membership including, but not limited to, a gym, yoga, float spa, chiropractor, etc.
Extra peace of mind can provide coverage for our team in the event of an unexpected disability. This comes at no cost to the employee and pays a monthly benefit in the event of a covered disability.
Unlimited Paid Time Off (PTO) for Exempt Employees
We believe that employees are at their best when they have a chance to recharge during their time off, and PTO will give employees the time needed away from their everyday work schedule.
In addition to vacation time, PTO may be used for reasonable personal sickness, family sickness, family activities, and extra holiday time.
Our traditional retirement plan comes with a match option to allow participants the ability to grow retirement funds more rapidly. We offer employer matching at 100% for the first 3%, then 50% for the next 2%.
Bonus Program and Profit-Sharing Plan
We offer a traditional bonus program and profit-sharing program to reward our team for their contributions to our company. This is based on company earnings to help save for retirement.

At Verus Forensic, we reject the "That's just how we do things" mindset. We don't believe that one size fits all. Instead, we prefer a holistic total-compensation approach, working directly with each individual within our firm to design the details.
